"Ivan Hadjiyski" Institute for Social Values & Structures was founded in 1997 as a non-profit private institute. It undertakes research in the field of social structures, social stratification and social mobility; research of the dynamics of social attitudes and values and their impact on political and electoral behaviour; comparative research in Balkan and East European countries; participation in national and international educational university programmes; organization of conferences, round-tables, seminars; development and maintenance of databases in the field of social research. It has conducted the biggest nationally representative surveys of young people in post-communist Bulgaria.
