The European Youth Partnership - a cooperation body between Council of Europe and European Commission - has published key findings from a research seminar on the theme of "Social inclusion and Young People". The articles included give a picture of the forms of social exclusion affecting young people nowadays and provide evidence of the progress of strategies to promote social inclusion.
The Youth Directorate of the Council of Europe has published the results of the review of youth policy in the Slovak Republic with UP2YOUTH's Andreas Walther being part of the review team.
The main results of the Eurobarometer 2007 survey on youth are now published and available as a summary report on the website of European Knowledge Centre for Youth Policy (EKCYP).
From 1 to 4 November 2007 the second UP2YOUTH thematic workshop will take place in Lisbon (Portugal). Researchers from all over Europe are invited to present their findings and to discuss them with regard to the reserach questions of UP2YOUTH and the draft thematic reports. A keynote speech will be given by Ann Phoenix (Open University, UK).
