Welcome to UP2YOUTH: Youth - actor of social change

UP2YOUTH has brought about a wealth of findings which resulted in a number of outcomes and products.

Here is a short list of the results for easy access:

• UP2YOUTH has held three workshops with experts from the three sub-themes: in Valencia 2006 for practitioners and policy-makers, in Lisbon 2007 for researchers and in Brussels 2009 for European stakeholders.
• the three working groups have synthesized their findings from national contexts into 3 thematic reports
• short versions of these thematic reports have been published as a series of UP2YOUTH Newsletters
• the UP2YOUTH coordination team has distilled an interim paper from the draft versions of these thematic reports drawing together the implications for youth research and the concept of agency of young people
• UP2YOUTH consortium partners have collected an array of research institutes related to the topic of UP2YOUTH resulting in 3 UP2YOUTH research maps 
• the UP2YOUTH Final Report synthesizes the findings from the perspective of youth as actor of social change
• a policy implications section draws practical conclusions from the agency perspective for current policy-making
• a collection of current practices exemplifies these conclusions on a number of selected youth policies and practices
• a Higher Education Course Syllabus capitalises the UP2YOUTH findings for teaching purposes
